Church History
Refuge of Hope was founded by Dr. George Fabre, who, after years serving as an educator, therapist, and minister, recognized the need for a Christ-centered, community-driven outreach ministry. Built on scripture and compassion, Refuge of Hope exists to bring healing and support to underserved communities.

Founder & Pastor
Dr. Fabre holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership/M.S. in Counseling. He serves a Professor of Behavioral & Developmental Psychology at a prestigious institution in the southeastern region, is a Project Director for the TRIO Talent Search ASPIRE program, and works as a Therapist at Henderson Behavioral Health. He is also an accomplished author & speaker.
His mission is to equip communities emotionally, spiritually, and academically breaking generational barriers through faith and education.
