Refuge of Hope serves individuals, families, and communities through the following ministries:
After-School Tutoring Programs (Math, Science, Reading, etc. Purpose: Support academic success and foster Christian mentorship among youth.
Target Group: Elementary to high school students in the community.
Operate 2–3 days per week after school (3:30–6:00 PM). Group students by grade level or subject. Include snack, prayer, and tutoring blocks.
Volunteer Needs:
Educators or trained volunteers for each subject.
Resources:
Whiteboards, computers, subject materials, reading books, and all resources to help each student succeed.
Curriculum-aligned materials.
Additional Ideas:
Include Bible-based moral lessons or short devotionals weekly.

Combine fitness (e.g., cardio, strength, flexibility) with prayer and wellness talks.

Bi-Weekly in-person or virtual meetings.
Organized by prayer topics: local families, schools, missions, nations, persecuted church.

Purpose: Provide mental, emotional, and spiritual health support with biblical principles.

Volunteer Needs: Licensed professionals (LPC, LCSW, etc.), or professional with Master's in Counseling.

Purpose: Equip believers for ministry, leadership, and deeper walk with Christ.

Volunteer Needs:
Experienced teachers/pastors.
Mentors and small group leaders.
